TLDR: If you want the best flavor you can get from a UB by running dual hybrid conduction & convetion heating with 1,000 rubys, grab a vortex adapter and another coil to go along with your UB!
The vortex adapter is designed to be a heated bowl, & allow you to stack units. But with the extra cleaning using the UB as bowl requires, and how well the hybrid bowl already preheats ehh. Stacking units is fun but novel, the restriction from 2k rubys with the high airflow flow & vortex disc is just a bit too much, maybe two high airflow discs works?
The vortex or turbine disc, while I dont like it as much as the high airflow disc for flower, it absolutely moves my pearls & oil in an quartz insert. So not much use for me yet, but when TCC comes out with a dabbing hybrid bowl option, I'll be ready!
Now where the vortex adapters sercret sauce really is, is installing the insert upside down for an extra 500 rubys on top of the UB, and preheating them for the ultimate hybrid setup. Wired conduction heating at 350, with wireless convection @ 460-715 gives you the choice of super flavorful low temp surfing with decent vapor production, or tongue buzzing terpy rips that have just a touch of plant taste as you clear it on the 4th hit.
