Universal Baller Vortex Adapter Set

While stuff was on sale i bought a housing and the vortex adapter for the quartz cup and the vortex quartz screen because it was less expensive that way than buying just the quartz components. Now i have a fritted, a vortex and a high airflow device. I love these devices as much as my OH Terp Hammer. They all work great and give great flavor. The fritted disc does feel most restrictive but not much. The vortex quartz screen and high airflow screens are very similar air flow. This vortex setup seems risky to me with exposed rubies and two hammers stacked makes it pretty heavy on your piece. Maybe Not if you use something like a Globe or Square cell. I do dig their products. I have way too many.

So, I had a bad experience with the vortex (pic below). Turns out I probably tightened the head and the vortex when hot with a key which can cause problems when the materials cool down. Whatever the cause, I took it as a challenge and after a couple of months I got them separated! (Caused major damage also but it works).

The vortex adapter itself is screwed on my UB at all times and I use it to stack two ball heads on each other. The extraction is exactly what you'd think. The best.

I absolutely love this vortex adapter. High air flow plus it gives a nice even roast of my herb. I think I prefer it over my high air flow disc. Thanks for another outstanding upgrade to an already awesome product.

The Vortex is a work of art. Gets you where you want to go fast. I love it so far. Speeds up my sessions. I love everything about it. Totally worth it.

TLDR: If you want the best flavor you can get from a UB by running dual hybrid conduction & convetion heating with 1,000 rubys, grab a vortex adapter and another coil to go along with your UB!

The vortex adapter is designed to be a heated bowl, & allow you to stack units. But with the extra cleaning using the UB as bowl requires, and how well the hybrid bowl already preheats ehh. Stacking units is fun but novel, the restriction from 2k rubys with the high airflow flow & vortex disc is just a bit too much, maybe two high airflow discs works?

The vortex or turbine disc, while I dont like it as much as the high airflow disc for flower, it absolutely moves my pearls & oil in an quartz insert. So not much use for me yet, but when TCC comes out with a dabbing hybrid bowl option, I'll be ready!

Now where the vortex adapters sercret sauce really is, is installing the insert upside down for an extra 500 rubys on top of the UB, and preheating them for the ultimate hybrid setup. Wired conduction heating at 350, with wireless convection @ 460-715 gives you the choice of super flavorful low temp surfing with decent vapor production, or tongue buzzing terpy rips that have just a touch of plant taste as you clear it on the 4th hit.
